Frédéric
St-Hilaire, aka Cinétik, founded the Montreal collective
Paranostudio and has collaborated with symphonies as well
as electronic musicians and DJs. Most recently St-Hilaire
produced a 60-minute experimental television piece that
was aired on England’s VIVA network.

Working as a VJ
under the alias Creatrix, Erin Lewis has performed at numerous
events by the Toronto-based multimedia collective Wabi.
Lewis makes manifest her collage-based creative visions
using photo/video media, informing her work with an active
involvement in social issues.

Lemieux
Incorporating organic
forms into digital environments, and vice versa, is of vital
importance to David Lemieux’s work. This Montreal
artist recently established Zedia, a multimedia company
that produces projects ranging from claymation to interactive
installations.

Raskin
Josh Raskin, currently
studying at Ryerson University in Toronto, has an affinity
for appropriating old forms and reupholstering them with
new technologies. Raskin also plays guitar with Music for
Mapmakers.

Martin
Lalonde
Cross-platform artist
Martin Lalonde from Montreal is a visual arts graduate who
works in photography and digital video. He has also released
EPs of electroacoustic music that were specifically composed
to accompany multi-channel video installations. Martin is
a member of the Mal Parlant artist collective, based in
Montreal since 2001.

Matt
Burke
Matt Burke directed
his first international music video and live visuals for
the world tour of Grandaddy. An editor for the advertising
production house SoftCitizen, Burke has worked on music
videos and product spots for a variety of clients, including
Spiritualized and Radke Films.

Nadia Duguay
One half of VJ duo
les technocrates, Nadia Duguay is a multidisciplinary artist
who integrates performance into her video work. Her experience
ranges from VJing to working in theatre and as an artistic
director for arts festivals. Having performed at festivals
such as NYC’s Eyewash, she has also worked in the
medium of holographic sculpture.

Riz
Maslen

Based in the UK,
Riz Maslen, aka Neotropic and Small Fish With Spine, is
one of UK’s finest underground Producers. She has
been part of the electronic scene since 1996 and signed
to Ninja Tunes’ sister label Ntone the same year.
Through Ntone she has released: ‘15 Levels of Magnification’,
‘Mr. Brubaker’s Alarm Clock’ and 'La Prochaine
Fois’. Maslen has previously worked with Future Sound
of London and The Beloved.

Shawn
Chappelle
A master of hyperfast
multi-source editing accompanied by epic narratives and
experimental electronic soundtracks, Chappelle’s videos
offer a melancholic appreciation for technolust and its
adverse effects on nature. His subject matter varies greatly,
from pornographic recontextualization of space travel to
critical deconstruction of racism in Hollywood westerns.

Yung
Born in Edmonton,
Wayne Yung is an internationally recognised video artist,
writer and performer who has lived in Vancouver, Hong Kong,
Berlin and Hamburg. His provocative films question gay Asian
identity and the body as challenged by nature and technology.
